THINGS TO DO IN PALOLEM GOA |
|
|
|
- Watch dolphins have breakfast. Sometimes you can spot them from the restaurant, or head out on a traditional fishing boat to get a close-up look.
- Explore an island. The small island at the north end of the beach is reachable by foot at low tide. Look out for the swimming monkeys!
- Pull in the nets. When the locals are bringing in their catch, they're always grateful for a helping hand. Great photo opportunity.
- Go for a shave. Traditional barbers are very skilled with a razor and brush - they do a fantastic head massage too. You'll feel like a new man.
- Take a yoga lesson. Or try Tai Chi, Chi Qong or even Bollywood Dancing. Or book yourself a traditional ayurvedic massage and see your cares melt away.
- Dance to silent music. The silent disco is a big hit - stick on the headphones and boogie into the wee hours. All without disturbing the peace and quiet.
- Shop till you drop. There are lots of souvenier shops, many selling beautiful handicrafts from all over India. Bring an extra suitcase.
- Barbeque your own catch. Go fishing then bring home your catch and we'll cook it up for you. Or choose from our daily seafood selection. Lobster anyone?
- Celebrate life. If you're here on a birthday, anniversary, or just want to surprise someone, tell us. We can arrange cake, champagne, flowers - anything really. Just ask!
- Charter a boat. You can charter a traditional fishing boat to sail up the spectacular coastline. Visit deserted beaches and see the abundant wildlife.
-
Visit the ruins of Cabo de Rama, an old Portugese fort with Hindu origins, for stunning views of the Goan coast line.
